Abdul-Hakeem Ajijola (AhA) is a global cybersecurity expert, influencer, and bridge builder in legacy mode who topped the IFSEC 2020 list of global cybersecurity professionals. He leads the African Union Cyber Security Expert Group (AUCSEG) and represents its views at the UN Ad Hoc Committee on Countering the Use of ICT for Criminal Purposes.

He is also a founding member of the Global Commission on the Stability of Cyberspace and the Global Forum on Cyber Expertise’s Working Group on Cyber Incident Management and Critical Information Protection. He has chaired several national committees on data protection, cybersecurity policy, and strategy in Nigeria. He has contributed to various projects and initiatives on cyber diplomacy, digital emblem, AI governance, counterterrorism, and cyber resilience.

He has provided consultancy and expertise to several regional and international organizations, such as ECOWAS, ASEAN, OIC, ITU-ARCC, ICRC, and the Africa Centre for Strategic Studies. Abdul-Hakeem is the Chair of Consultancy Support Services (CS2) Ltd., a firm that offers cybersecurity, capacity building, and ICT policy solutions in Abuja, Nigeria. He is working to create an African cybersecurity economic subsector that employs thousands of young and skilled knowledge workers who can drive the value chains of cybersecurity solutions.
